Bridgeton Library Teen Council Collects Books for Kids

The Teen Library Council of the Bridgeton Public Library invites the community to contribute new unwrapped children’s books for its “Books for Kids” drive beginning Saturday, October 21.  Last year thousands of New Jersey children with limited access to books were given the chance to own a book of their own through this very important program. Give a child the gift of reading by bringing a new book or books to the library’s collection box. Books for children from preschool through age fourteen are needed.

Book donations will be accepted through Saturday, December 16, and will be distributed to local children in need. For more information, please contact the Bridgeton Public Library at (856) 451-2620 or bpl@bridgetonlibrary.org. The library is located at 150 E. Commerce Street, in Bridgeton.
