KELLY SPONSORS SENIOR SPRING FLING DANCE MAY 15TH AT MARINO BALLROOM

As we bid farewell to winter and turn our focus to spring; with flowers, baseball, and warmer days, it’s also that time of year where seniors in the greater Bridgeton area can look forward to a mainstay of the season; namely the Senior “Spring Fling” Dance.

Set to take place on May 15th beginning at 6:00pm at the Everett P. Marino Ballroom located at 11 Washington Street in Bridgeton, the spring dance will feature music, entertainment, food, and a lot of dancing.

As the event’s sponsor, Bridgeton Mayor Albert Kelly has been hosting both spring and autumn dance events as his way to honor seniors in the Greater Bridgeton area for their many contributions, while also providing an evening of fun and fellowship.

“I’ve often said our seniors get overlooked in our fast paced world but it’s important to do things in our community that recognize their contributions, these are our most seasoned residents and they’ve all made contributions over the years. So much is focused on youth, so this is for them, my small way to thank them” said Kelly

The event is for residents of the Greater Bridgeton area, 60 years of age and older. Tickets are $3.00 and tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the door.

Those interested in finding out more about the May 15th Spring Fling Dance or to purchase tickets can call the Office of the Mayor at (856) 455-3230 Ext 200. Tickets can also be purchased in advance at Gateway Community Action Partnership located at 10 Washington Street.
