7th Annual Festival of Lights- "A Frozen Holiday" theme for 2014

 Celebrate the warmth of the season with “A Frozen Holiday” at the 7th Annual Festival of Lights at the Cohanzick Zoo in Bridgeton, New Jersey.  The dates are Fri., Dec. 5, from 5-8 & Sat., Dec. 6, from 4-8 pm.   Come enjoy the lovely lights, take a train ride or take in the view from the air on the Ferris wheel.  Children can make a craft to take home (while supplies last).  You may even get discovered as you wow the crowd at karaoke.  Entrance to the Festival of Lights is free; however, there is a nominal charge for some items.  Reserved parking is available for $5.00 nightly.  Spaces are limited, so contact the Rec. Dept. at 856-453-1675 to check availability before sending payment.  Vendors also are available to sell you their wares.  You also can honor departed loved ones with an ornament for the Wall of Remembrance.  Angel ornaments are $10, bows are $5.  Ornaments must be paid for by Dec. 1.  The gift drive for the animals also is on, so bring a gift for your favorite zoo resident.   To download the Wall of Remembrance application, and for a list of gift suggestions for the animals, please visit the City’s website at www.cityofbridgeton.com.
