Weather permitting; the City of Bridgeton Water &
Sewer Department will be temporarily closing off a portion of Fayette Street
next to the Cumberland County Courthouse, specifically the section that runs
from Broad Street to Vine Street to undertake repairs to a small water main and
resetting of a manhole cover on that section of roadway.
According to Bridgeton Water & Sewer Superintendent
Mark Lavenberg, local access to the County Jail, Superior Court, and designated
parking areas will be available using Vine Street and those needing to get to
these facilities are asked to plan their route accordingly through the day on
Saturday March 1st between 8:00am and 4:00pm
