BRIDGETON SET TO HOLD COMMUNITY-WIDE
YARD SALE AT SUNSET LAKE JUNE 3RD
Need to free up some room in a basement or garage? Do you
have some items you no longer use but they might be worth selling? If so, then
the Bridgeton Community Yard Sale on June 3rd from 7:00am to 11:00am at Sunset
Lake may be just what you’re looking for.
Organized by the Bridgeton Recreation Department, spaces
at the Community Yard Sale are $10 each and are approximately 12’ x 12’ in size
with access to electric.
Those participating in the yard sale can start setting up
at 6:00am the day of and are responsible for bringing tables, chairs, canopies and
anything else they might want to use for display of yard sale items.
The Bridgeton Community Yard Sale will also feature food and
refreshments as well as a live radio remote broadcast. Available spaces are going fast and those
hoping to reserve their space for the Community Yard Sale are encouraged to
visit www.cityofbridgeton.com for the registration form on the City’s homepage.
While participants have always been encouraged to donate
unsold items to charity, an added feature this year will include the presence
of local nonprofit thrift store “Bridge the Gap”, which will accept any unsold
items participants may wish to donate- saving them the time and hassle of transport back to the garage or basement.
Registration forms must be turned in by May 26th.
