BRIDGETON MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND PARADE AND ACTIVITY
LINE-UP
Marking the start of the
summer season, the Memorial Day weekend will feature parades, Memorial Day
Ceremonies, and the opening of the Bridgeton Splash Park in Bridgeton City
Park. No Permits are required for City Park Picnic Areas for Saturday-May 24th,
Sunday-May 25th or Monday-May 26th (Memorial Day)
Saturday, May 24th Memorial Day Parade
The parade will begin at 2:00pm
at Mayor Aitkin Drive and move west on W. Commerce Street to West Avenue; then
head north on West Ave to Scholastic Drive (near High School-City Park), the
parade will finish at the Bridgeton High School Stadium, where there will be a
short ceremony to begin at approximately 3:00pm

9:00AM Veteran’s Memorial
Park (City Park) Mayor Aitkin Drive
11:00AM Official Opening
Bridgeton Splash Park in City Park (Mayor Kelly to hold opening event)
12 Noon Memorial Day
Ceremony to be held at Veteran’s Cemetery in Hopewell Township
12:30PM Memorial Day
Ceremony to be held at Broad Street Cemetery
